Will Work for Work

A lecture with Mikey Burton

Join AIGA Philadelphia for an evening with Philly local designer and illustrator Mikey Burton. Hear firsthand from Mikey how self-motivated projects can successfully generate client work. He'll also explore how he brings dream projects to fruition by shedding his own blood, sweat, and tears along the way. And finally, he'll share how his passion for design is ultimately appreciated by clients.

About Mikey Burton
An Ohio native, Mikey proudly describes his design aesthetic as "Midwesterny" and draws much of his inspiration from artifacts found throughout the hardworking, blue collar Rust Belt: old type-specimen sheets, arcane equipment manuals and ancient textbooks. For more on Mikey: MikeyBurton.com
